Name: 'A Very English Pregnancy' (acrylic on gypsum with cow's milk glaze)

Artist: CJ Munn

Editions: Unique

Background: This beautiful, intricately hand-painted piece was inspired by the Victorian pottery in my local museum and the very English country home I grew up in. Not only do the tiny blossoms covering the piece represent the blooming life inside, but also the cultural heritage of the baby within.

The painting alone took over a week to complete, and as such this piece is completely unique in all the world.

Price: POA- Collection or courier at cost.

Name: 'Spine 1' SOLD

Artist: CJ Munn

Editions: Unique

Background: This piece was partly inspired by spinal tattoo I saw and also with my own fascination with the spine which stems from a car accident aged 17, where I twisted 2 vertebrae. Suffering for 10 years with neck and back problems before discovering the genius of osteopathy - the strength versus the vulnerability of the spine, and all its hidden mysteries fascinated me. The harlequin marks on the shoulders to me represent the skin peeled back to reveal the raw spine, like a coarse alien beast beneath the flesh - holding and controlling our movements, ruling us with pain at times. The ribs embrace yet cage us, each vertebra stacked above and cradled by its neighbours - so snugly, yet seemingly precariously....like a tower of children's blocks, ready to tumble to the ground.

Name: 'You Know You Want To' (acrylic on gypsum with leather and chain)

Artist: CJ Munn SOLD

Editions: Unique

Background: This is one of my earliest pieces of work. The design and title were inspired by the handprints which kept appearing on the original cast as it lay against my studio wall in it's natural, plain white state. No one who walked past it could seemingly resist a pat, caress, grope or gentle spank of this beautiful bottom. The piece itself seemed to cry out for such attention, and thus 'You Know You Want To' was born.

Delivery: Collection or courier at cost

Name: 'Marked'
(Hand-engraved copper coating over gypsum)

Artist: CJ Munn

Editions: Unique

Background: Playing with issues of dominance and submission, this piece blends the physical strength of the male body, a marked warrior's body..with the pose of a supplicant. Is he praying, begging for mercy, worshipping a lover or master, crying, feeding? The richness of the copper metal coat contrasts beautifully with the stark white of gypsum revealed by the hand-engraved 'tattoos'. Even the strong can be vulnerable...or even choose to be.

Price: £3500 (collection or courier at cost)

Name: 'Human Shield'
(acid-eroded iron over gypsum)

Artist: CJ Munn

Editions: Unique

Background: The delicate body of this petite mother of three, hides the heart of a lion, and the strength of an ancient battle shield - used to protect her sons as she raised them single-handedly into fine young men. Like some long forgotten treasure buried beneath the earth for a thousand years, this body reveals a secret but eternal truth - there is no greater strength in the world than a mother's love. Gentleness and fragility may indeed be the partners of power.

Price: £800 (collection or courier at cost)

Name: 'Birdman 1' (hand-engraved brass metal coat over gypsum with verdegris patina)

Artist: CJ Munn

Editions: Unique

Background: The strong masculine beauty is contrasted with the delicacy and fragility of the engraved peacock feather. But does the feather represent the hidden gentleness within a strong male body, or does the association with the Peacock reflect his vanity and narcissism? Peacock feathers are given as tokens of fidelity in some cultures...and with it placed over his chest, does this piece merely reflect a faithful heart?

Price: POA

Delivery: Collection or courier at cost.

Name: 'Playtime'(work in progress)

Artists: Andre Masters & CJ Munn

Editions: Will be available in a variety of materials and finishes. Please email to indicate interest, including the name of the piece. Available as a pair or individually. The female sculpture has been designed to hold an item in her hand such as a whip...or even a feather duster!

Background: Continuing the theme of power and vulnerability, this pair of sculptures have an overt eroticism. But the power politics of a sub/dom relationship are rarely as clear cut as they appear on the surface. Power can be willingly given up as well as taken away. The female is bound by her corsetry as much, if not more than her partner by his wrist bonds. The shapes and positions of their bodies and arms compliment each other and represent a balance between them. Theirs is a coupling based on trust.

Price: Dependent on material/finish. for further details.

Name: 'Mama'

Artists: CJ Munn & Andre Masters

Editions: Limited edition run of 150, available plain or in a variety of decorative finishes and materials.

Background: The natural beauty of this piece speaks for itself. Nothing can be more magical than the 9 months you carry a baby inside you. 'Expectant' is a word heavy with meaning...so many hopes and dreams condensed into that precious time; expectations growing with the swell of the belly and breasts. This piece has a quiet dignity, an earned pride, a protectiveness. It is a portrait of love and hope, that every new parent can relate to.

Name: Elizabeth SOLD

Artist: CJ Munn

Background: This piece was created during the launch of the first female genital casting workshop and was created to reflect the simple elegance of the intimate female form. We live in a society that has alternately mocked, ridiculed, or hidden that place that we all come from. The shape is reminiscent of an ancient temple, reminding us of civilisations that paid greater respect and homage to feminine sexuality.
