When Mother and Baby Magazine asked their readers what they wish they had known about or done when they were pregnant, we were delighted to hear how many people had written in and said they had wished they had come to Rockabelly Lifecasts for a belly cast! November 2007 - 'How to Have Sex After Marriage' - Channel Five/Five Life
This popular new TV series features a different married couple each week, who have found their relationship has been suffering and need a little help in and out of the bedroom to recover their zest for one another. Episode 7 features Simone and her husband, who, after several children and Simone's changing body image, were having problems. One of Simone's tasks, set by the Channel 5 team to help her recover her self esteem, was to have her breasts and torso cast. Not an easy task for her, since she could barely look herself in the mirror and hadn't even dared to take her children swimming for fear of people seeing her in her bathing suit. But the lovely Simone braved the task, and trusted Rockabelly Lifecast's CJ Munn to be the one to cast her. Watch 'How to Have Sex After Marriage' on Channel 5 to find out her reaction to CJ's finished work and whether she enjoyed the casting session in spite of all her fears.

December 2006 - House & Home Ideas Magazine
This beautiful lifecast of four siblings in a bespoke double layer frame and veredgris brass and iron finish, was featured in a House & Home Ideas article about the best personalised items that can be bought for the home.
September 2006 - Thames Festival Coverage - 'Eat Me'
This Summer, CJ Munn of Rockabelly Lifecasts and associate lifecaster Andre Masters, were commissioned by the artist Sharon Baker to create 3 full body moulds for her art performance 'Eat Me'. The moulds were filled with bread dough and baked at The National Bakery School, and afterwards the bread bodies served up to a large, hungry audience at the Thames Festival. May 2006 - iChild Magazine
CJ Munn was filmed casting a pregnant belly using our mail order belly casting kit, and interviewed in her home for this brand new interactive digital magazine, brought to you (by subscription only) from the Ideal Shopping Direct channel.
April 2006 - BBC Southeast Today
CJ Munn was interviewed for BBC Southeast Today's news show about her lifecasting work. News reporter Rob Smith braves a kiss cast (with teeth and all!) in the name of journalism, and takes one home for his wife.
March 2006 - Focus Magazine
A lovely two page, full colour feature on CJ and Rockabelly Lifecasts was published in Focus Magazine, discussing her career and charity work in the arts.
February 2006 - 'It's A Wrap - The Art of Lifecasting'
CJ Munn was the focus of this independent short film about the art of lifecasting by Carly Smith. As well as a historical exploration of the art, the film featured an in depth interview and a demonstration of facial casting and belly casting.

December 2005 - Loaded Magazine Christmas Issue
Our Brilliant Boob Casting Kits were featured as one of Loaded's recommended Christmas presents for the modern guy to give his girlfriend or partner.
September 2005 - House & Home Ideas Magazine
House and Home Ideas magazine features our beautiful torso casting in aluminium finish under 'Things we'd love to buy if we had £1000'. That price tag was actually for a his and hers matching sculptures, not just a single cast.
June 2005 - The Daily Star
This national newspaper featured two top glamour models using our Brilliant Boobs Casting Kits on each other. Only from the look and sound of their feature, they didn't give the girls long enough to actually read the instructions, bless em! Still, they managed to make something boob shaped that they were proud of, even if they did miss out on at least half of the process, and completely ignore almost all of the clear and easy instructions. They forgot to credit us for the second time too, but it was still worth it for the funny photos!
May 2005 - Champney's Magazine
CJ Munn was interviewed about the art of bellycasting for a Champney's Magazine article 'In Bloom' about wonderful ways to celebrate your pregnancy.
May 2005 - BBC Around Kent Magazine
BBC Radio presenter Kerry Gray returned to Rockabelly Lifecasts, having fallen in love with the idea of getting her face cast. The event was recorded by photographer and journalist Jo Geear, for BBC Around Kent Magazine September issue along with an interview with CJ, and also featured on the BBC website along with a step by step photostory of the casting session. Jo then came back shortly after with her sister, the fabulous dancer Deborah Geear, who came all the way from Bermuda for a foot casting session.

May 2005 - FHM Magazine
FHM men's magazine recommends our Brilliant Boobs Casting Kits as a fantastic present to buy your girlfriend if you've done something to upset her and want to make amends. We think you shouldn't wait until you're in trouble - just buy her one because you love her and it's fun!
April 2005 - BBC Radio Kent
CJ was interviewed for BBC Radio Kent's Pat Marsh Show for the 'Odd Job Bod' feature. This regular slot has presenter Kerry Gray visit people around the county who have unusual occupations, and through giving clues and answering yes/no questions, audience members have to guess what the interviewee's job is. We almost had them stumped this time - kept everyone guessing well over schedule, but in the end someone worked out it was something to do with death masks, and we had to give it to them. Not sure what on earth was going on in the head of the person who guessed 'tree surgeon' though.

February 2005 - Channel 4 - 'Fool Around'
Rockabelly Lifecasts was asked to create four special bodycasting kits as an activity for contestants on their 'Fool Around' series.
October 2004 - Lifecasting Today - Celebrity Casts
This international lifecasting publication covered the Diet Coke Film Festival event, for which CJ Munn and associate lifecaster Andre Masters cast the hands of 17 celebrities 'Hollywood Handprint' style, to be auctioned on ebay for the homeless charity Shelter. April 2004 - ITV - 'This Morning'
CJ Munn was invited on ITV's flagship daytime TV show presented by Phil Schofield and (on this occasion) Lorraine Kelly, to demonstrate pregnant belly casting on her sister Naomi (within a few days of her due date). CJ showed a range of possible ways to decorate the casts to make them personal and fun and managed to insert the words 'sperm', 'bottom' and 'erotic' into her live television interview with Phil, purely by accident of course. It could have been much worse.
December 2003 - The Sun Newspaper
CJ Munn's bodypainting of a Christmas pudding on a model's pregnant belly was featured in The Sun newspaper as part of a feature about the Beautiful Bumps & Babies calendar, for which the bodypainting formed the December image. The calendars were made by a group of talented friends from the Babygreenhouse online community and all profits raised were split between the charities Sparks and Samuel's Boxes. The Star newspaper featured our Brilliant Boobs Casting Kits together with a feature on lifecasting. This time they managed to attribute our work to another company, but we did get a nice apology from their lawyers.

One of our clients, Sarah Barnard, featured a lovely write up of her experience being cast by Rockabelly Lifecasts for part of her published pregnancy diary for this national magazine.
May 2003 - The Mother Magazine
This beautiful international pregnancy and parenting magazine, produced the most fabulous double page spread interview with CJ Munn of Rockabelly Lifecasts.
April 2003 - Ballet.co Magazine
CJ Munn was asked to write a feature for one of the world's top dance websites about the art of casting dancers. Having trained as a dancer in her youth at a top UK dance school, this was a subject close to CJ's heart. You can find an archive of the article here, along with some photos of our work, and a lovely arm cast that was a collaboration with Tristan and Robin Schoonraad at the International Make-Up Artist Magazine Trade Show earlier this year.
March 2003 - ITV Meridian News
Following the national news coverage on Anthony Gormley's latest lifecasting project, our local ITV station, Meridian, came and did a feature on Rockabelly Lifecasts to show off some topical 'local talent'. It was a little nerve-wracking but good fun - although CJ is more used to being the other side of a camera. Here is a photo of the cameraman and presenter, Sandy Fleming (who, as you can see was game enough to be cast herself on the show) on the day they visited the Rockabelly Lifecasts studio. Both the presenter Sandy and her cameraman Mick were very impressed with CJ's work that they both came back - Sandy to ask CJ and her mother Diane Brazier to illustrate Sandy's new children story and Mick to have a casting made.
