We love to collaborate with other talented artists and artisans to create truly unique works of art. Here are some of our recent collaborative partnerships :-
Andre Masters of All Handmade

CJ's longest standing creative partnership has been with the supremely talented Andre Masters who is now CJ's partner in life as well as occasionally in work. Andre worked as a professional modelmaker for the film and television industry for many years, and is now a full time artist/designer; regularly working with CJ on commercial and art projects and is also available for private art commissions. Most recently we partnered up for the nine gorgeous lifesize copper figurative sculptures created for Thomas Hoblyn's showgarden at the Chelsea Flower Show, as well as collaborating on a number of new fine art life sculptures for our forthcoming exhibition.

In 2009 we collaborated on the bread body casts for Sharon Baker's Eat Me performance at the Thames Festival. Other collaborations have included (but not limited to) lifecasts for the feature film Batman Begins, 17 celebrity hand casts for Diet Coke's Film Festival in aid of Shelter, 13 full body realistic mannequins for Puma International and our ongoing project for blind and partially sighted audiences, 'THE unTOUCHABLES'.

Our latest joint venture is the launch of our fine art site Masters & Munn, creating stunning sculptures in a range of exotic finishes for interiors and gardens.

Sharon Baker

In 2011 Rockabelly Lifecasts collaborated with award-winning artist Sharon Baker for the Experimental Food Society Spectacular, casting Sharon's body so it could be made into a giant human-shaped loaf for people to eat and enjoy.

In 2009, for her Eat Me performance for the Thames Festival, CJ and André cast Sharon in different poses to create lifesize bread bodies. The concept required 3 full body lifecasts to be made that would fit into the large bread ovens of The National Bakery School. CJ and Sharon had a lot of fun trying out potential poses by climbing into the ovens themselves in all kinds of yogic postures. The resulting moulds made by CJ and Andre Masters were filled with bread dough, baked, and served to a ravenous audience outside the Oxo Tower on the South Bank, egged on by Sharon herself with a dazzling and scary array of butchery knives and saws.

Barbara Neill-Bottle

CJ is proud to work regularly with her dear friend, the talented photographer and poet, Barbara Neill-Bottle. Barbara herself has modelled for our lifecast sculptures, which have then (along with other works) become the inspiration for several of her photographs, including an award-winning portrait of CJ herself 'floating' amongst a sea of her lifecast sculptures as if suspended on a cloud of bodies. Barbara's strength in the face of adversity, raising her three fantastic sons single-handedly, was the inspiration for CJ's piece 'Human Shield', which is currently available for purchase. CJ's cast of Barbara in homage to Barbara's partner Gary's beloved bass guitar was the inspiration for several more photos and the poem 'Instinct'.

Diane Brazier

CJ's mother Diane is someone she considers not only her first art teacher, but also her primary inspiration. Some of CJ's earliest memories are of her mother making up stories to tell her at bedtime, and creating beautiful illustrations for to go with them. CJ and Diane are currently collaborating on a collection of their children's stories and illustrations with a view to publication. Diane is an incredibly talented and award-winning professional artist and is available for private commissions.

Sean Kelly

CJ met Sean whilst working with Andre Masters on the Puma International mannequins. Sean later asked CJ to assist in the creation of the second generation of real metal hands bras he had been making. The lifecasts made by CJ were ergonomically sculpted by Sean and then electroformed in a variety of metals including real gold to make the most surprisingly comfortable and naturally supportive bra CJ has ever worn. To commission other kinds of bespoke wearable lifecasts, CJ at Rockabelly Lifecasts with your ideas.

Anna Bennett

CJ met Anna on an internet parenting forum. In 2004 they formed part of a team of forum members who created the 'Beautiful Bumps & Babies' calendar in aid of Sparks and Samuel's Boxes. CJ's bodypainting of pregnant models was captured in the December image by Anna, along with many other gorgeous photos in Anna's trademark style. If you are interested in becoming a 'living canvas' to celebrate your pregnancy, or any other time of life, please get in for a price guide or further information.
